SO MANY PLANTS! Wow. Still amazed by the shear number plants. If you got a plant this isn't the book for you. If you got a bunch of plants this is a must!

My favorite book on garden plants, and simply one of my favorite books. I bought an earlier edition eight years ago in Aistralia, to bring this huge few-kg book to Mexico. After that I bought one more through to have it always at hand at two different places I live. Sometimes I browse it just to relax it is an entire world within it...
Lists thousands of plants but is a little thin on how to care for them.
This is an incredibly robust plant encyclopedic volume. The first 30 plus pages covers how to read the book, basic plant information, charts & zone maps. The rest of the book covers plants from A to Z, their origin, plant size, color and variations through the seasons, etc. A great book for anyone interested in plants either for fun or as a profession. The book is very well designed and easy to follow, and a great reference manual to have at the ready for both beginner or professional.
